Terms and Conditions of Enrollment

1. Purpose
These terms and conditions govern the enrollment in language courses and educational services offered by Escuela Spanglish SL. By enrolling in a course, the student is deemed to accept these terms and conditions.

2. Enrollment Process
Students must provide a valid ID card (DNI), TIE, or passport in order to prepare the registration form. The student will receive the pre-filled form with their personal details and course information. They must read it carefully and, if they agree, proceed with the payment.

As part of the enrollment process, students who already have knowledge of Spanish must take a placement test to assess their level. Absolute beginners do not need to take this test.

Based on the results of the placement test, the student may attend a free trial class in a group corresponding to their level to confirm that the group is suitable for their needs.

Enrollment may be completed in the following ways:

  • In person at the school

  • Online via email or WhatsApp

Enrollment will only become effective when:

  • The signed contract has been received (physical or digital)

  • Full payment for the course has been made

Accepted payment methods: bank transfer, credit card, or cash (within the legal limit).
No enrollment fee is charged.

3. Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with applicable regulations, students have the right to withdraw from the contracted course or service without stating any reason within 14 calendar days following the date of contracting, provided that the course or service has not yet started.

If the course has already started, the right of withdrawal shall not apply.
In the event of a valid withdrawal, the full amount paid will be refunded, except for any possible bank charges.

To exercise this right, the student must notify it in writing to info@elspanglish.es.

4. Standard Cancellations

Cancellations of courses that have not yet started:
If the student wishes to cancel, they must notify this at least 14 days before the start of the course. The amount paid will be refunded minus a €100 administrative fee and any possible bank charges.

Cancellations of courses that have already started:
If the cancellation is made less than 14 days before the start of the course, or if the course has already started, no refund will be given.

Private lessons:
Cancellations must be notified at least 24 hours in advance. Otherwise, the class will be considered delivered and cannot be rescheduled or refunded.

Course changes and group availability:
If there are not enough students to form a group before or during the course, Escuela Spanglish SL reserves the right to offer an alternative group or private lessons, adjusting the corresponding hours or, where applicable, issuing a refund in accordance with the relevant clauses.

Public holidays and missed classes:
Group classes that fall on public holidays will not be made up, except for private lessons, which may be rescheduled with prior notice. Periods of absence notified more than 24 hours in advance may be rescheduled.

5. Cancellation Due to Force Majeure

By the student:
If a student is unable to attend the course due to force majeure (accident, serious illness, external legal force), they must notify this as soon as possible and provide supporting documentation. Escuela Spanglish SL may offer a partial refund or deferment of the course, depending on the circumstances and after reviewing the case.

By the school:
Escuela Spanglish SL reserves the right to cancel courses or classes due to force majeure (pandemics, legal restrictions, natural disasters, lack of qualified teaching staff). In such cases, the student will receive a full refund for classes not delivered or the option to reschedule the course, with no administrative fee applied, except for any possible bank charges.

6. Amendments to the Contract
Escuela Spanglish SL reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions for legal or organizational reasons, informing students with reasonable prior notice.

7. Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions are governed by Spanish law. For any conflict or dispute, the parties submit to the Courts and Tribunals of Valencia, Spain.
